ENGLISH CHOIR
The English Choir is a group of women and men who assist parishioners to pray by singing. The choir can be heard at the 11:30am Sunday Mass and on feast days like Christmas & Easter. Knowledge of music is an advantage, but love of singing, along with a genuine commitment, is all that is required for you to make a significant contribution to the celebration of Mass.
Because the choir sings in 4-part harmony there is place for your voice! Rehearsal is at 7:30 each Wednesday evening. We need your contribution. Please come and join us!
IL CORO ITALIANO
Il coro Italiano nella nostra parrocchia anima la santa messa in Italiano della ore 10:00am ogni Domenica e tiene una pratica settimanale il Martedì sera dalle ore 20 alle ore 21:30. È un coro misto a Quattro voci. Avendo lo spazio per le diverse tonalità anche tu potrai trovare spazio per la tua voce. Per favore, chiamaci e unisciti a noi: "È bello Lodare il Signore Insieme."
THE 1 O'CLOCK ESSEMBLE
The 1' o'clock Ensemble are a group of young and middle-age singers and musicians that offer a slightly up-beat and alternative rendition of the Hymns, Praises and Acclamations at the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday at 1:00pm. This ministry is strictly voluntary, but we do require some commitment.
They are constantly seeking new talent. Due to the limited numbers that can be accommodated on the altar, auditions are required. They generally rehearse after the Sunday service.
If you would like to offer your talents and join the group, please contact Eddie or Keith after the sunday's 1:00pm Mass.
English Children's Choir
The children's choir is a group of young boys and girls who enjoy singing. The choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 in the meeting room of the Church. The children's choir animates at the 8:30am Mass on Sunday. To join the Choir you come to the practice on Wednesday evening. Commitment to the Choir is a mandatory requirement.
Ministerio De Música Hispano
Este es un grupo de hombres y mujeres que tratan de vivir su fe de la mejor manera posible y que además se han “consagrado” para servir a Dios a través de sus talentos musicales. Algunas de las cosas que este grupo hace para cumplir mejor su misión son: Vivencia de los sacramentos, reuniones constantes, retiros, participación en otros grupos, oración, catequesis y ensayos. Si usted está interesado (a) en formar parte de este ministerio por favor ponerse en contacto con Flavia al final de la Misa de 6:00pm de los domingos.
Filipino Choir
From its inception in 1997, the St. Catherine Filipino Choir has been in charge of the music ministry for the Filipino Masses. Alongside this monthly endeavour, the choir also caters to the needs of the general public and provides music for weddings, parties, and Christmas caroling. Our practices are held in the hours just before the Mass within the Church premises. Now in its 8th year, the choir has retained many of its original members while also having welcomed various additions to the group. Those who are interested in joining our choir regardless of previous musical experience are invited to contact any choir member.
