Our Ministries

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul:

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. Our mission is to help alleviate suffering and its causes, serving everyone, regardless of race, creed, gender, opinion or age.

We support regular initiatives such as the Bundle Up weekend, Toonie Sunday, World Day of the Poor, Christmas grocery gift card drive and many others. Volunteers of the Society visit those in need, in their homes to determine what kind of help they require.

General Meetings are held on the 1st Mondays of each month, except July and August, at 7:30 PM in Zanon Hall. If interested to join, please email stcatherineofsienami@archtoronto.org or call (905) 272 0840 (please leave a message).

Knights of Columbus:

This is a family and fraternal benefit organization of Catholic gentlemen age 18 and older who are committed to making their community a better place through their charitable works while supporting the church. Being a “knight” is more than camaraderie, it is being involved in the community and growing one’s faith. It is also about protecting and enhancing family life. The Knights sponsor many different pastoral and social events. The Knights of Columbus has been called “The strong right arm of the church”. The Knights meet on Mondays at 7.30 p.m. in the Scalabrini hall.
